Contemporary vessels created from wood washed ashore.
During lockdown Gordon combined his passion for beach walks, gathering beach salvage, and wood turning to create this 'shore wood' collection. This collection has been turned from wood found on the north shore of Belfast lough. It's not easy to identify the wood but the fascinating and common characteristics are the spalting and patterns visible on these pieces. Every piece is unique and recreated on the shores of Belfast lough by Gordan Barr No90.
